FALL 2002

Can you believe it’s a year since 9/11? My flag is still out. Our hearts were broken! I did flowers for a customer of mine who lost her 32 year old son. Time heals all wounds. We will never forget, but we must always forgive. God Bless America!

Hi Guys!
I will begin this Fall by sharing thoughts from my Daily Word:

“I have Faith in God to heal every hurt, clarify every doubt and strengthen my resolve”

“The surest way to continue the process of healing hurt feelings is to forgive the person. It may not be practical or even possible for me to forgive in person, but I can let my sincere prayers be a powerful and gentle force of positive change. Each prayer soothes the hurt, transforming my experience from one of pain to one of healing”

Brought in some pumpkins and mums, but pretty much slowing down on outside plants.  Bringing the perennials to winter at Kim’s house!

Schweighardt’s Florist Patriotically ready for Fall!

I always wanted 6 kids.
God only gave me one daughter.
I guess God figured it best
to give me perfection the first time.
(and later 5 not-so-perfect Kitties)

Here She Is…

And of course, it’s used for carting cats around.  God Bless Her, she deserves it.

5 Not so perfect Kitties

Jelly suffers from Bulimia; Peanut has a chronic eye disorder

Bootsie is blind from birth; but she still knows her toy is under the damn couch!

Faith had surgery that left her with pins in her hip and leg.  Lizzie has bowel problems (usually on my rug)

October is the month for the Blessing of the Animals.
We can learn a lot from them.
They love unconditionally, like little children:
One minute fighting, hissing – such carrying on!
The next minute, licking each other’s asses. Now THAT’S forgiveness!

Prayer to St. Francis

Oh no it’s her again!

Holy shit get off off me!! (Loud howling and shrieking)

“You little SOB, I’m going to kill you!”

“Help! Mommy! Get her off of me!”
I say “Boo Boo- Be nice to Lizzie ta ta”
(and the next minute they were back to licking each others asses.)

Thank you God for helping me focus on this website for the people I love.  Happy Halloween and Happy Thanksgiving!   Come visit us again for Christmas!

Love you all, Cheryl and the gang
